Sultan Pasha

Sultan Pasha is a London-based independent perfumer whose early connection to fragrance came from his grandparents’ attar collection and the wild plants around his childhood in Bangladesh and London. After academic studies in chemistry or biochemistry, he began creating perfume compositions in 2012; the first attar identified is Shadee. Those early compositions developed into Sultan Pasha Attars, the defining format of his original work, bringing together influences from classical French perfumery, Middle Eastern traditions, and South Asian traditions. He began selling the compositions after customers requested samples with their eBay orders. By early 2014, he perceived rising demand and eventually left retail banking to pursue perfumery full time. His work also includes Sacred Scarab, an alcohol-based fragrance created for Zoologist in 2022. In 2025, he introduced the separate Sultan Pasha Perfumes label as an independent London-based brand, extending the range into alcohol-based extrait perfumery with four compositions: Irisoir, Joyeux, Thebes, and Quintessentially Amber.
