Sylvaine Delacourte
Sylvaine Delacourte is a fragrance business operated by Paris-registered Sylvaine Delacourte SAS under the name Delacourte Paris. Delacourte joined Guerlain in 1983 and entered its Perfume Evaluation and Development division in 2002. There, she created the international perfume-training program, worked as an evaluator alongside Jean-Paul Guerlain, and later became Director of Perfume Creation. Her Guerlain work included participation in the development of L’Instant de Guerlain and Insolence, along with the house’s exclusive and bespoke fragrances. She created more than 70 fragrances for Guerlain, including Cuir Beluga and La Petite Robe Noire. After her Guerlain career, she launched Sylvaine Delacourte Paris with a five-fragrance musk collection. The collection was the brand’s starting point, with each fragrance exploring a different musk accord. Its creative concept reinterprets favored raw materials through unexpected combinations, including vanilla, musks, orange blossom, citrus, selected woods, and solar flowers.
