Tabbeau
Tabbeau is a U.S.-based fragrance brand founded by Onyi Ifeguni in 2021 and headquartered in Streamwood, Illinois. Ifeguni began developing fragrances after struggling to find an affordable scent compatible with her skin chemistry, first making formulas in her kitchen and later in her basement. The self-owned business launched online on January 11, 2022, with Cherry Saffron, Mixed Feeling, and Balsam Gilead. Its public identity combines access to premium fragrance with confidence, individuality, and representation of men and women of color. Tabbeau presents its fragrances as naturally derived, plant-based, vegan, and cruelty-free, with products handcrafted in the USA. In March 2025, it announced Stamen Blues, Pistachio Éclat, and Matcha Rush as newer fragrances beyond the original trio. Stamen Blues adds a heritage-focused dimension, using kolanut extract in a fragrance connected to Igbo and West African cultural tradition and including a tribute to Ifeguni’s father. Ifeguni is also credited as a perfumer for Tabbeau fragrances.
