TALE Parfum

TALE Parfum was founded by screenwriter and perfumer Chad Hodge and creative director, brand storyteller, and perfumer Diandra Barsalou. Identified as a United States fragrance brand founded in Los Angeles, the house brings scent and storytelling together, framing its fragrances as narratives about identity, transformation, and defining moments. Its initial four fragrances launched in 2024. Bad Lily is credited to perfumer Michael Nordstrand and, in 2025, won the Independent Category at the Art and Olfaction Awards, where Hodge and Barsalou were credited as its creative directors. The award also records a collaboration between Nordstrand and the two co-founders that materially shapes TALE Parfum’s public creative identity.
