Tamburins
Tamburins started in South Korea in 2017 as a beauty-focused affiliate of IICOMBINED and sister brand to Gentle Monster, extending the Seoul-based company’s design-led approach into fragrance and body care. Its first flagship opened in Seoul’s Sinsa-dong district. In 2022, the brand introduced its first perfume collection under the SOLACE theme in collaboration with BLACKPINK’s Jennie. Tamburins’ perfume identity explores undefined beauty through changing scents inspired by stories from around the world, presented through sensory exhibitions and designed objects. CHAMO appeared in that first collection and was later identified by IICOMBINED Japan as one of the brand’s signature scents. In 2024, Tamburins extended its fragrance concept into car diffusers, using an art-wall exhibition to present the collection as a spatial experience. In 2025, it introduced the BOTTARI perfume collection with a campaign featuring Jennie. In 2026, Tamburins introduced its first hair collection, combining hair perfume, hair oil, and a perfume scrunchie, with CHAMO, EVENING GLOW, and WHITE DARJEELING listed among its signature scents.
