Tauerville
Founded by perfumer Andy Tauer, Tauerville launched in 2014 as an experimental line alongside Tauer Perfumes. Tauer conceived it as a creative outlet for fragrances that did not fit the Tauer Perfumes model, with fewer marketing and distribution constraints. Its creative identity centered on experimentation, storytelling, and an unconventional presentation of perfume. In 2016, Tauerville introduced the Stories collection, beginning with Hyacinth and a Mechanic and using a hand-to-hand, in-person distribution concept built around personal, moment-in-time narratives. Rose Flash was the first scent in the Tauerville venture, originating as a fragrance Tauer had considered unsuitable for the standard Tauer Perfumes line. In July 2025, Tauer said that maintaining two separate lines had become confusing and that Tauerville creations would be brought under one roof within Tauer Perfumes; Rose Absolue and Vanilla Absolue were developed from Tauerville ideas.
