Taylor of Old Bond Street

Founded by the Taylor family in the 19th century and in business since 1854, Taylor of Old Bond Street is a family business centered on gentlemen’s grooming products and accessories. By 2006, it operated on Jermyn Street in London as a family-owned retailer of shaving products. In the early 1990s, it began operating a barbershop and gentlemen’s hair salon at Eton College; after the school granted permission to use its name, the arrangement provided the basis for the Eton College Collection. Its longstanding product philosophy emphasizes ingredients that are as pure and natural as practical while maintaining established quality values. In fragrance, the Sandalwood collection is identified as the brand’s bestselling and most well-known men’s fragrance range, combining citrus freshness with an oriental woody style. The Eton College Collection is fragrance-led, with citrus accords, floral notes, and patchouli.
