Teddy The Perfumer

Teddy The Perfumer was established in 2024, originating with Teddy Haugen’s private fragrance making after his friend Helene discovered his work, tested the scents, and joined him with experience in marketing and men’s skincare. Haugen works as an independent, self-taught perfumer, drawing ideas from scent memories, fragrances he wished existed, and imaginative concepts rather than market research. Creative independence shapes the practice: he creates each fragrance without investor or large fragrance-house direction. The inaugural collection launched in 2024 with three fragrances, followed by Leather Paradise and Une Blonde in spring 2026. Banane au Chocolat offers a personal expression of the brand’s fragrance work, drawing on a memory Haugen shares with his daughter and combining ripe banana, chocolate cake, patchouli, butter, and vanilla. The brand’s development also involved artist Hunter Christian, Sarah Horowitz-Thran’s bottling team, and Sacha Bojanowski, who contributed brand development and marketing support.
