The Fragrance Kitchen (TFK) is a Kuwaiti fragrance house established in 2012 by Sheikh Majed Al-Sabah. Its origins trace to personal perfume blends inspired by childhood memories and his grandmother’s use of oud, Taif rose, and agarwood; encouragement from friends and family led him to develop those blends into a brand. TFK’s creative identity brings Middle Eastern fragrance tradition together with Western craftsmanship, with scents presented as unisex creations. Al-Sabah’s earlier work with Villa Moda, Gucci, and Yves Saint Laurent, along with his collaboration with Tom Ford on Arabian Wood, informed the vision behind the house. On 8 July 2024, Development Holding acquired TFK, which now identifies publicly as part of the group. Its current offering is organized into Exclusive, Signature, and Vintage collections, alongside Hair & Body Mist. TFK’s olfactory identity is defined by oud, Taif rose, and agarwood rather than one sole signature scent.
