The Bromley Collection

The Bromley Collection is a fragrance range created by artist David Bromley in collaboration with Bondi Perfume. Born in Sheffield in 1960 and brought to Australia as a child, Bromley emerged as a painter in the mid-1980s after beginning in pottery; his practice later extended to sculpture, ceramics, interiors, fashion and other creative projects. The visual language associated with his work includes female nude portraits and children’s imagery, alongside recurring birds, butterflies, flowers, trees and landscapes. Yuge Bromley joined the broader creative venture, and the fragrance concept was developed by David and Yuge Bromley, with David involving his wife and daughters in choosing among fragrance samples. Launched publicly in October 2022, the collection comprised Noir, Oriental and Floral, with Bromley artwork reproduced on the bottles and boxes. The three-part capsule connects the scent project to Bromley’s established visual-art practice.
