The Fragrance Kitchen

The Fragrance Kitchen is a Kuwait-based fragrance house established in 2012 by Sheikh Majed Al-Sabah. It grew from perfume blends Al-Sabah made for friends and family, drawing on childhood memories of his grandmother using oud, Taif rose, and burning agarwood. The house’s concept brings Middle Eastern tradition together with Western expertise. Before founding it, Al-Sabah established Villa Moda and worked with Tom Ford, Gucci, and Yves Saint Laurent. At launch in 2012, The Fragrance Kitchen presented a Signature collection of 36 fragrances and an Exclusive collection of 17. Its fragrance history also includes Arabian Wood, created by Al-Sabah for Tom Ford’s Private Collection; the scent became a bestseller and gave him confidence to start the house. TFK Arab Spring is identified as the brand’s signature scent. On July 8, 2024, Development Holding Company acquired The Fragrance Kitchen, which currently identifies TFK as a Development Holding company.
