The Fragrance Room

The Fragrance Room is a Cape Town-based South African collective bringing together home-fragrance and body-care brands. It went live in December 2022 as a curated platform for South African premium fragrance and body brands, with an evolution toward technology-enabled online retail for local entrepreneurs presenting African-inspired products. Its identity centers on African place, conscious living, sustainability, ethical production, and storytelling through scent. In November 2023, The Fragrance Room and associated brands participated in the AGOA Made in Africa exhibition in Johannesburg, presenting African-inspired home-fragrance work and seeking export partnerships.
