The Gate

The Gate Fragrances Paris was registered in Paris in February 2016 and presented its first collection, Love Collection, at Esxence in Milan the following month. Created by Fady Adwan, a Palestinian-born former professional photographer, the house grew from his early interest in fragrance, sparked by a perfume given to him by his father. Its name expresses a passage from an earlier period toward new experiences and change. The Gate frames fragrance as a bridge between cultures and an artistic narrative shaped by emotions, memories, art, history, travel, and human relationships. The Love Collection was followed in 2018 by the four-fragrance Caravan Collection, built around Middle Eastern and Silk Road imagery and oud-centered compositions. In September 2023, the brand introduced the Blue Collection, comprising Le Grand Bleu and Sous Les Nuages. Its three named collections are Love, Caravan, and Blue. Inside Out, from the house’s fragrance repertoire, is identified as a bestseller and combines fruity, herbal, and vanilla facets.
