The House Of Potentia
The House of Potentia was created and founded by Beth Nonte Russell from a question: whether perfume could help people unlock their highest potential. Russell’s creative development included a life-changing experience in 1999, the memoir Forever Lily, and a first fragrance called foreverlily, while her concept was shaped by studying scent in ritual, religion, literature, and poetry. The brand brings together olfaction, intention, mind, and will as tools for exploring human potential and self-knowledge. Its first publicly presented collection, Cognitas, launched at Perfumarie in New York City on April 18, 2018, framing fragrance as a journey into the mind and self-discovery through scents associated with stages including I Am, I Will, I Trust, I Want, and Grounding. Developed over four years with perfumers from Firmenich, Cognitas includes Amber God, described as the collection’s core and a catalyst for personal transformation through scent. Amber God was a finalist for The Fragrance Foundation’s 2018 Indie Fragrance of the Year. On March 24, 2026, Reliquia Studio published a House of Potentia identity project by Fifi Lachimia and Angello Torres, using sacred geometry, gradients, and symmetrical compositions to express the brand’s self-discovery philosophy.
