The Orientalist presents itself commercially as The Orientalist House of Fragrances Dubai, while its legal notice names The Orientalist Europe S.L.U. and gives a registered address in Murcia, Spain. Its creative premise is to translate documented Eastern traditions, historical texts, cultural practices, rituals, and culturally significant ingredients into fragrance, while rejecting invented stereotypes and fantasy representations of the East. The current public-facing offer comprises eight scents, presented as distinct facets of Eastern heritage rather than as a single named signature line. Independent reference records place the brand in Spain since 2025 and document its fragrances as 2025 releases.
