The Perfume Edit

The Perfume Edit is The Perfume Shop’s first own-brand fragrance collection, launched in June 2019. It grew from a retailer whose first stores opened in Birmingham, Belfast and Milton Keynes in 1992, with a stated purpose of making luxury perfume accessible through fragrance expertise. The collection introduced a unisex Eau de Parfum range with modern, minimalistic packaging, described as cruelty-free and vegan and presented in recyclable bottles and boxes. Its launch trio comprised Peppered Earth, Amber Glow and Citrus Fresco. In 2005, ownership of The Perfume Shop’s parent company changed when A.S. Watson completed the acquisition of Merchant Retail Group, whose principal business was The Perfume Shop. Today, The Perfume Edit’s documented identity rests on The Perfume Shop’s fragrance-retailing background and its own-brand, unisex, sustainability-oriented approach.
