The Perfumed Court

The Perfumed Court traces its origins to Diane Weissman’s eBay fragrance sales around 2003 and identifies its website as founded in 2007. At the 2007 launch, four former eBay sellers—Patty White, Dragonfly00, Lisa Lawler, and Fishbone96—combined their fragrance holdings into The Perfumed Court, which developed into an online sampling and decanting retailer focused on vintage, discontinued, niche, designer, and otherwise hard-to-find fragrances. Diane’s approach centers on curated sample sets organized by fragrance houses, notes, seasons, and historical relevance. Its fragrance identity is defined by authentic rebottling and curated exploration of olfactory history rather than a house-created signature perfume. In April 2012, Patty White and Lisa Lawler left to establish Surrender to Chance, while The Perfumed Court remained open; The Perfumed Court LLC was registered in Georgia that August, and the business identifies Marietta, Georgia, as its location.
