The Saltworks Company

The Saltworks Company is an artisanal fragrance house whose fragrance mission dates to 2013. Its workshop is in Ramsgate, Kent, where products are made by hand in small batches with fragrance materials sourced from Grasse, France. Creative direction is developed in-house in the UK, with formulation and technical support from specialist partners in Grasse; its fragrances are presented as original compositions rather than copies or inspired-by versions. The company launched Discovery Sets to let customers test multiple fragrances over time before selecting a full-size scent. The collection contains ten of the brand’s best sellers. By July 2024, more than 100,000 Discovery Sets had been sold, and a later cumulative figure reports more than 400,000 sets sold.
