Fragrance house
The Scent Library
Founded in 2015, The Scent Library is an Emirati-owned niche perfume house based in the United Arab Emirates and established by Emirati entrepreneur and perfumer Saeed Mohamed Alnuaimi. Its organizing idea treats fragrance like a library, grouping scents by olfactive family, mood, and identity rather than primarily by brand. The house’s identity draws on Emirati heritage and storytelling, combining modern aesthetics with references to Emirati rose, sidr, desert botanicals, and traditional oud. This approach is expressed in The Seven Scents of UAE, a project that translates the spirit of each emirate into a distinct olfactory identity. Among its fragrance examples, Bakhoor Bliss appears in the brand’s Best Sellers and Black Collection, while Emarati Dream is described as an olfactory representation of the United Arab Emirates’ essence, spirit, journey, hope, and progress.
