The Scottish Fine Soaps Company

The Scottish Fine Soaps Company was founded in Scotland in 1974 by Derek Ross. From its soapmaking origins, it developed bath, beauty, and personal-care collections shaped by Scottish style, landscapes, ingredients, and naturally inspired fragrances. The company is a four-generation family-owned business associated with the Ross family. In 2024, it marked its 50th anniversary with a refreshed look, revising the presentation of classic ranges and introducing collections inspired by the Scottish wilderness. The refreshed brand launched publicly in February 2025 across its identity, packaging, website, social channels, and trade materials. The Au Lait Collection is described as an iconic collection and a creamy classic; during the anniversary evolution, it was reformulated with Scottish oat and chamomile milks while retaining its established scent.
