The Wiggles

The Wiggles is an Australian children’s music and entertainment group formed in 1991 after Anthony Field developed the idea for a children’s album. Early-childhood education shaped its identity, with music and performances built around educational concepts for children. Its format combines songs, live performance, music-and-movement participation, and recurring characters including Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog, and Captain Feathersword. The group was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2011 and has received multiple ARIA Awards for Best Children’s Album.
