THEOBROMA PARFUMES
THEOBROMA PARFUMES is a fragrance house presented as a collaboration between perfumer Mayumi Nakata and Koji Tsuchiya, chef of Musée de Chocolat Theobroma. The line extends the identity of Tsuchiya’s chocolate specialty shop, opened in Shibuya in March 1999 after his training in Japan and France and work at La Maison du Chocolat and Dalloyau Paris. Nakata founded the fragrance maison 5W1H in 2019 after leaving her long-term director role at candle brand SWATi. Appearing in early 2024, THEOBROMA PARFUMES centers on wearable chocolate through a chocolate-focused gourmand collection that includes chocolate-gourmand, floral-gourmand, and herbal-gourmand interpretations.
