Theodoros Kalotinis
Theodoros Kalotinis was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete, where his grandmother’s garden, kitchen, herbs, spices, flowers, and desserts shaped his early scent memories. He began creating fragrances with Greek botanicals and natural grape alcohol in 2012. A perfumer, cosmetic scientist, and chemical/process engineer, Kalotinis has developed a brand identity centered on gourmand perfumery, with dessert realism and pastry-inspired ideas at its core. In 2018, he created personal fragrances for Prince Charles and Camilla during their visit to Crete; Charles later sent a letter praising their connection to Greece and his roots. The brand was rebranded in 2019 from Théo Parfums to Theodoros Kalotinis Perfumer, placing the perfumer’s signature at the forefront while leaving the scents unchanged. Coffee Addict is the fragrance associated with the brand’s worldwide recognition, while Crème Brûlée leads sales in the premium Golden Secret Collection.
