Tigha

Tigha began in 2009, after founder Asem Chaudhary designed and sold his own leather-jacket models. The brand grew from the search for an ideal leather jacket, with leather jackets remaining central to its identity as it expanded into broader apparel. By 2016, it had developed toward a complete outfit concept while retaining its characteristic look. Chaudhary described its creative approach as making what the team wanted to wear, resisting dependence on trends, and staying true to its own vision. In 2019, the year of Tigha’s tenth anniversary, ACTC GmbH was identified as its parent company, and ACTC launched the separate streetwear label Preach while Tigha returned to its darker, vintage-oriented identity. From July 2021, Tigha was rebranded as Young Poets Society. In 2023, insolvency-opening proceedings were reported for ACTC GmbH, by then known under that name and formerly operating as Tigha. Tigha’s fragrance activity centers on The Dark Side, its first Eau de Parfum, launched in 2019 and composed by Geza Schön.
