Tita Rossi
Tita Rossi’s documented history places the label within Rome’s fashion system from 1970 to 1988. Earlier, from 1966 to 1969, Tita Rossi designed cabin uniforms for Alitalia, including a return to traditional blue, a short double-breasted jacket, an oval neckline, an ascot-collar shirt, and white gloves. A 1966 advertisement linked the label with Seletex and textile producer Ferrarin, documenting its participation in Italy’s post-war fashion-and-textile system. Fragrance entered the record in 1987 with Tita de Tita Rossi, described as the designer’s first fragrance and associated with COFCI in Paris. The fragrance is recorded as discontinued and is the clearest documented example of Tita Rossi’s perfume legacy.
