To My Ships

To My Ships launched in 2024 as a London-based personal-care brand founded by Daniel Bense, whose previous associations include Aesop and Sunspel. Its remit spans deodorant, antiperspirant, body care and fragrance, with an identity built around restrained, nuanced products, naturally derived ingredients, responsible resource use, and refillable or reusable packaging. Formafantasma shaped the packaging and wider design system, including the use of recyclable or post-consumer-recycled aluminium. The brand’s name and product names draw on Homer’s Iliad through Robert Fagles’s 1990 translation. Its inaugural Of the Gods collection combined hand and body wash, natural deodorant and fine fragrance, with perfumer Céline Barel working on the fragrances using mainly natural raw materials from Monique Rémy’s Grasse laboratory. Of the Gods includes Polygonum Eau de Parfum, described as the range’s most concentrated expression of its signature scent. In 2025, To My Ships introduced the marjoram-infused Stand Up Bravely range, including an Eau de Parfum, and in May 2026 announced The Incessant Anxiety Geranium as its third scent.
