Tom Taylor

TOM TAILOR is a Hamburg-based German casual lifestyle and fashion brand whose corporate history traces the business to HENKE & CO, founded in Hamburg in 1962 by Uwe Schröder and Hans-Heinrich Pünjer. The TOM TAILOR name emerged in 1979, when the established name “Tom” was extended with “Tailor”; the brand family later added TOM TAILOR Women and Kids in 1999 and Denim TOM TAILOR in 2007. Its public identity has been framed around casual clothing that combines sporty elements with urban and metropolitan styling. In January 2014, TOM TAILOR introduced a revised identity organized around Urban, Fashion and Gear. Its fragrance range reflects themes of freedom, self-expression, confidence and everyday adventure across women’s and men’s scents. In September 2024, the brand announced that Mäurer & Wirtz would become its fragrance license partner from January 1, 2025, continuing existing lines and developing new ones.
