Tous
TOUS traces its business origins to 1920, when the Tous family founded the company in Manresa, Barcelona, with roots in jewelry and watchmaking. In the 1960s, Salvador Tous took over his father’s jewelry workshop, and his marriage to Rosa Oriol brought her design vision into the family business. Oriol created the teddy-bear pendant in 1985; the motif subsequently became associated with TOUS as a defining brand symbol and an icon of Spanish pop culture. TOUS later diversified beyond jewelry into fragrances, watches, bags, eyewear, baby accessories, and other accessories. The brand describes its evolution through audacity, creativity, and a sense of humor, alongside the purpose “We Craft a World of Joy.” Its fragrance history began in 2002 with TOUS Eau de Toilette, its first women’s fragrance, created by Olivier Cresp. Described as a floral-green composition, it remained on the market for more than a decade and has been called a classic. By 2020, the perfume division had reached its 20th anniversary and was organized into four broad groups: Classics, Sophisticated, Kids, and Moments.
