Trussardi

Trussardi began in Bergamo in 1911 as an artisanal leather-glove workshop founded by Dante Trussardi. During the 1970s, Nicola Trussardi broadened the business into a fashion Maison with bags, scarves, accessories and prêt-à-porter, introducing the greyhound symbol in 1975. In the 1980s and 1990s, the label developed into a contemporary ready-to-wear and leather-goods brand, extending its identity toward an Italian lifestyle. Its public identity has been rooted in leather, Italian craftsmanship, cultural experimentation and the greyhound emblem, with later lifestyle projects and cultural collaborations. In May 2021, Benjamin A. Huseby and Serhat Işık became creative directors and were tasked with leading a brand revamp informed by the house archive. On 12 March 2024, Miroglio completed its acquisition of Trussardi from QuattroR, bringing the brand, its historical archive and licensing rights into the Miroglio Group as an independent brand. Trussardi entered perfumery in 1980, followed by Donna in 1982; both are described as house classics, with Donna identified as a chypre fragrance.
