Fragrance house
trussardiuomo
Founded in Bergamo in 1911 by Dante Trussardi as an artisanal leather-glove workshop, Trussardi grew into a fashion house under Nicola Trussardi in the 1970s, extending into leather goods, a Milan boutique, and later ready-to-wear. The greyhound became Trussardi’s brand symbol in 1975. During the 1980s and 1990s, the house developed a lifestyle-oriented profile through public fashion shows, collaborations, Trussardi Jeans, and cultural-entertainment projects. It launched its first fragrance in 1980, followed by Trussardi Uomo in 1983; Uomo is among the house’s classic fragrances. In 2021–2022, Trussardi appointed Serhat Işık and Benjamin A. Huseby as creative directors and introduced a redesigned logo and image strategy, including a circular reinterpretation of the greyhound. On 12 March 2024, Miroglio completed its acquisition of Trussardi from QuattroR, bringing the independent brand, its historical archive, and licensing rights into Miroglio Group. Its current identity combines Italian leather heritage with the more inclusive, open, culturally oriented concept of the Gentle Society.
