Ulric de Varens

Ulric de Varens was created in Paris in 1981 by Ulric Viellard. Its founding concept was to create fragrances for women and men with professional perfumers while making French perfume accessible to a broad public. The brand’s identity is expressed through original creations, innovative packaging, and collaboration with master perfumers. In 2001, the group entered the second market of Euronext Paris, marking a significant stage in its corporate development. Following a 2017 public offer and compulsory withdrawal, Ulric de Varens shares were removed from Euronext Paris on 10 July 2017, ending the company’s listed-market chapter. The available evidence does not establish a signature fragrance or collection, so its biography is best defined by its Parisian origins, accessible approach to French perfumery, and creative emphasis on fragrance and presentation.
