Unifrom

Founded in Stockholm around 2019–2020, Unifrom—formerly Uniform—was created by Haisam Mohammed, its founder and creative director. Its identity is rooted in the smells of stairwells in Swedish high-rise neighborhoods, where cooking, spices, and incense from diverse households mingle into a shared diaspora story about home and identity. Unifrom is an experimental perfume house seeking to move fragrance beyond conventional spray formats and develop new ways to experience scent. As it entered new markets, trademark challenges, particularly in Japan, led to the 2023 change from Uniform to Unifrom. By May that year, it had added solid perfume as a second format and participated in its first Paris Fashion Week runway collaboration with HELIOT EMIL. Maghrib, the brand’s first creation, draws on rooftop sunsets and the blended aromas of Mohammed’s childhood home; in 2023, he named it his signature scent.
