Uppeel

Uppeel is a Maharashtra-based Beauty & Wellness brand operated by Uppeel Consumer Care Private Limited, a privately held company incorporated in the state on 3 October 2023; the brand lists 2024 as its founding year. Its identity is tied to upcycling fruit peels: the concept recovers biomass from fruit processing, extracts its active components, and uses them in consumer skincare. The idea developed from research into by-product utilization into a technology platform and consumer product range. The company reported pre-seed funding in March 2024 and initially slated a July launch; a subsequent launch account describes Uppeel as developed from concept to launch through KNEW, linking its development to Keva’s fragrances, flavours and aroma-ingredients ecosystem. Its offer combines fruit-inspired fragrances with peel-derived skincare and bodycare.
