Upsilōn

Founded in Ahmedabad in 2022, Upsilōn is a privately held perfume and fragrance company launched in India in December that year after two years of research into the Indian perfume market and surveys of perfume users. Its name refers to the Greek letter Upsilon, whose branching form expresses the choice of a direction that brings out one’s potential. The brand’s purpose is to encourage people to embrace their true selves, own their stories, and make fragrance part of a confident lifestyle identity, a theme captured in its launch communication, “Own Your Story.” Its initial offer was a men’s fragrance range organized around different occasions, while Upsilōn now presents itself for men and women. Among its fragrances, Shooting Star is described as the star of the range: a spicy, aromatic scent intended for nighttime and special occasions. Vatsal Vachhani, Ravi Dadhaniya, and Neeraj Bhensdadia are named as its co-founders and directors.
