Uriage
Uriage’s heritage begins with the thermal center initiated in 1823 in the French Alps, whose baths received recognition from the Academy of Medicine in 1877. The Uriage Dermatological Laboratories were created in 1992, when the brand began incorporating Uriage Thermal Water into dermo-cosmetic care. Its identity combines this thermal water with dermatological expertise and active ingredients, with products designed around skin health and tolerance. The thermal center’s nineteenth-century development included a building program led by the Comte de Saint Ferréole and a 1892 renovation that established its current architectural design. Uriage was acquired by Puig Family investment companies in 2011 and became part of Puig’s brand portfolio in 2021. That year, Puig placed it in a specialized dermatology division alongside Apivita and Isdin.
