V Canto
Founded in Italy by siblings Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi, V Canto introduced its first artistic fragrance, Mastin, in 2015. The brand developed from the Terenzi family’s longstanding fragrance and candle-making tradition, extending through Guglielmo Terenzi’s perfume and cologne work and Evelino Terenzi’s continuation of that practice. Its creative identity is tied to the Terenzi family’s connection with Gradara Castle, where the family has lived for more than 700 years, and to Dante Alighieri’s account of Paolo and Francesca in Canto V of the Divine Comedy. V Canto’s fragrances interpret medieval poetry and history through themes including passion, love, sin, virtue, vice, and human nature. The creations are signed by Paolo and Tiziana Terenzi, with Paolo also identified as a perfumer. Following the 2015 debut, the line expanded with unisex fragrances including Magnificat, Mirabile, and Mea Culpa, and its public architecture now spans Blue, Red, Green, Foglie d’Amore, Anime del Castello, and Arkani. In March 2026, industry coverage reported new releases in the Souls of the Castle and Arkani lines. V Canto is publicly identified as a Cereria Terenzi Evelino brand, while its related international trademark registration transferred to Terenzi Group Holding in February 2026.
