Fragrance house
Vacation
Founded in Miami in 2021 by Lach Hall, Dakota Green, and Marty Bell, Vacation emerged from Bell’s online radio station, Poolsuite, and officially launched through the platform that year. The brand developed its identity around an imagined 1980s resort world, using nostalgic visuals, storytelling, and a faux-corporate voice to frame its concept of “leisure-enhancing” sunscreen: familiar sunscreen experiences updated with skincare science and a strong sensory component. Fragrance was part of the original product development, with the founders pursuing a signature scent alongside Carlos Huber of Arquiste and Rodrigo Flores-Roux of Givaudan. Vacation later expanded from sunscreen into eau de toilette and other scent-led formats. Its fragrance legacy is especially visible in Orange Gelée: the brand launched a revival project with original fans and beauty experts in 2023, released the revived product in 2024, and saw that launch sell six times as much as its next most popular SKU during its first three days. In 2026, VMG Partners made a minority investment in Vacation; available evidence does not establish a change of control.
