Valeur Absolue

Valeur Absolue was conceived in 2012 by Bénédicte Foucart and launched in 2013 as a niche luxury perfume company. Foucart developed the house around a gap between aromatherapy-style wellbeing fragrances and conventional fine perfumery, joining scent to emotional wellbeing and a scented ritual. Its identity combines fine perfumery with aromachology, selected natural ingredients, and lithotherapy-inspired semi-precious stones, presenting fragrance as an elixir or ritual of wellbeing. The early collection comprised Harmonie, Joie-Eclat, and Sensualite, followed by Sérénitude in 2014. By 2016, its range had grown to six wellness-oriented fragrances built around emotional effects. Valeur Absolue’s fragrance legacy lies in this wellbeing-oriented concept and its emotional collections, expressed through the house’s “scented emotions” framework.
