Venezia 1920

Venezia 1920 is a fragrance and skincare house based in Venice, Italy, publicly introduced in 2019 from an idea by Michele Cardillo and Gianluca Zin, with Zin as artistic director. Its identity centers on intimate, lesser-known stories of Venice, drawing on the city’s position between East and West and the artistic atmosphere of the 1920s. The inaugural fragrance collection comprised Lido, Divine, Oud Royale, and Grey Velvet, all composed by Luca Gritti. The house’s creative work also includes Blanc de Blanc, created by Michele Marin and debuted at the 2019 Cannes TFWA event; by 2022, Roberto Dario was developing further Venetian-themed fragrances. By that year, public coverage described the brand as comprising five perfumes alongside a skincare line, which the current website presents as a core part of the house. The Venezia 1920 trademark is currently owned by Caveau Privè srl. In 2026, the brand announced a new artistic chapter under founder and art director Gianluca Zin, with a more cinematic, intimate, immersive, and contemplative treatment of Venice in its visual and sensory identity.
