Versatile Paris
Versatile Paris was founded in January 2021 by Coralie Frébourg, after her 2019 graduation from the École Supérieure du Parfum and the loss of an expected marketing job during the COVID-19 pandemic. It launched in October 2021, after ten months of development, with five perfume extracts inspired by familiar moments in daily life. Its original concept offered an alternative to conventional alcohol-based spray perfumery through compact, genderless, highly concentrated, alcohol-free roll-on fragrances. The brand’s creative identity connects fragrance with mood and time of day, drawing recurring inspiration from food and drink as sources of olfactory memory. Versatile Paris developed its fragrances with the independent perfume-creation studio FLAIR and perfumers Amélie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, Camille Chemardin, and Elia Chiche. Pierre joined the venture as an associate in June 2023, and he and Frébourg continued working together after ending their relationship in January 2024. The brand introduced three alcohol-free eau de parfum roll-ons in April 2025 and announced six spray-format perfume extracts in April 2026. Croissant Café is a bestseller for Versatile Paris, framing fragrance around the sensory idea of a French breakfast.
