Vicky Martín Berrocal
Vicky Martín Berrocal’s fashion roots are in flamenco design: she dates the start of her flamenco fashion work to 2005 and made her debut as a designer at SIMOF in February 2006. Her early creative identity centered on Andalusian flamenco and occasionwear, with her first SIMOF collection drawing on the Rocío pilgrimage, the Seville Fair and related festive dress. After a decade focused on flamenco fashion, Berrocal ended that chapter in 2015 and moved toward broader womenswear through Victoria, a bridal and occasionwear brand created with Scalpers’ support. Victoria is a bridal, guest and godmother label founded by Berrocal in Seville and belonging to the Scalpers group. In 2018, Scalpers entered Victoria’s capital as a minority shareholder while Berrocal remained its creative director. The fragrance line began in 2018 with Nuvaria through Alba and Eterna. Alba was named for Berrocal’s daughter, while Eterna expressed a stronger, more forceful facet of her identity. In 2026, the fragrance business was rebranded as Vicky Essence, with Berrocal as creative director; Flamenco was introduced as the symbol of that phase, reconnecting the fragrance identity with her Andalusian roots.
