Fragrance house
Viking
Viking is an Eau de Parfum from the House of Creed, the fragrance house founded in 1760 on London’s Conduit Street by James Henry Creed as a tailoring house serving British royalty and aristocracy. Creed later evolved from British tailoring into French haute perfumery, developing an identity shaped by craftsmanship, bespoke creation, and the sourcing and hand-processing of natural fragrance materials. The house moved from London to Paris at the invitation of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie, and has remained based there. Olivier Creed became the sixth generation to run the house in 1985, serving as master perfumer while his son Erwin continued the family tradition. Aventus is identified as Creed’s best-known and bestselling fragrance. Launched in 2017, Viking was Creed’s first men’s Eau de Parfum since Aventus appeared in 2010, and Olivier Creed described it as expressing a different spirit. On March 31, 2026, L’Oréal acquired Kering Beauté, including the House of Creed.
