Vila Hermanos

Vila Hermanos traces its cerería, or wax-making, tradition to 1884 and is based in Atzeneta d’Albaida, Valencia, Spain. Its work centers on home fragrance, with scented candles, diffusers, and sprays that combine longstanding craft knowledge with newer techniques and processes. The company has developed a library of more than 150 home perfumes, working with French perfume firms alongside internal and international perfumers. Patrick Douenat, a perfumer by vocation and economist by training, acquired the loss-making business in 2011 and is described as the central figure behind Vila Hermanos, framing its candles as vessels for sensations, memories, and perfumes with a concept and history. In 2023, Vila Hermanos presented Valencia Special Edition, inspired by Valencia’s Mediterranean identity and orange blossom. On January 22, 2025, it announced its first Eau de Parfum collection, a six-fragrance line that extended the brand from home fragrance into personal perfumery.
