Villa Erbatium

Villa Erbatium was established in Seoul on February 14, 2017, and is operated by Science Art Works Inc. as a privately held fragrance brand. Its name brings together “VILLA,” associated with a cultural space, “ERBA,” the Italian word for herb, and “TIUM,” inspired by a Korean expression for sprouting. The brand frames its work around natural essences, in-house formulas, and emotional fragrance, placing perfume at the boundary between science and art. Its collaborative history includes a fragrance created with the musical Dracula in January 2020. In February 2023, it collaborated with the Seoul Metropolitan Government on Scent of Seoul, described as the city government’s official fragrance. In November 2023, it worked with K-pop group AB6IX on a limited-edition fragrance project. By 2026, the brand had received external investment and was developing sustainable packaging systems and collections with international fragrance partners.
