Fragrance house
Von Eusersdorff
Von Eusersdorff was established by Camille Henfling, a direct heir to a family lineage of German emigrants whose work for nearly three centuries involved trading rare oils, herbs, spices, and flower petals. Before entering perfumery, Henfling worked in jewelry, then moved to Grasse and undertook years of self-directed study before establishing the house. Born in New York and now based in Amsterdam, Von Eusersdorff interprets inherited perfume-making traditions through the city’s design, architecture, culture, and free-spirited character. Henfling is the nose and creative force behind the brand, drawing on family knowledge of aromatic materials and New York-inspired memories. The house’s first perfume, Classic Patchouli, launched in 2011 to honor that heritage and centers on black patchouli; it is also described as Von Eusersdorff’s flagship fragrance.
