Voskanian Parfums
Founded in Armenia in 2018 by Tsovak Voskanian, Voskanian Parfums began with its founder’s longstanding interest in scent and decision to establish a perfume-production business. Described as self-taught, Voskanian learned essential-oil distillation from Ruben Buniatyan before developing his perfume-making craft independently. The brand’s creative identity brings together his authorship, childhood experimentation, personal interpretations of Nietzsche’s philosophy, and Armenian natural materials and imagery. Its first collection comprised three limited-edition fragrances made with essential oils from rare Armenian plants and presented in handmade obsidian bottles. After exhibiting at Pitti Fragranze in 2021, the maison appeared in the fair’s 2023 new-entry material as an expression of longstanding perfumery traditions through fragrances associated with Armenia’s nature and Voskanian’s personal inspirations. In a 2025 interview, Voskanian said he personally creates every fragrance. Pêche Chyprée is the brand’s most popular fragrance and began with an accidental overdosing of one ingredient.
