Weisswange
Kim Weisswange has been creating bespoke perfumes for more than 35 years. Born in South Africa and educated in the United States, she established her professional base in Hamburg, where Weisswange’s creative identity developed around individually tailored fragrances shaped by a client’s personality and scent preferences. By 2004, Weisswange and business partner Hedda Möller had founded the lifestyle agency Lily Rose, which developed and distributed cosmetics and exclusive perfume creations. In 2006, a member of the British royal family commissioned three fragrances for Queen Elizabeth II’s 80th birthday, and in 2011 Weisswange created bespoke fragrances associated with Prince William and Catherine’s wedding. For the brand’s 25th anniversary, she developed The Scent of Time with KOREFE, translating every calendar day into a perfume by combining year, month, and day components; its first edition sold out within weeks and later received a Clio Award in New York. Weisswange is especially associated with the UNIQUE PERFUMES concept rather than a single mass-market signature scent.
