WELEDA Cell Longevity
WELEDA Cell Longevity is a skincare series from Weleda comprising three lines, rather than a fragrance line. Launched in October 2025, with availability announced from 17 October, it was introduced as Weleda’s first premium facial-care range. The series sits within a company founded in 1921 by physician Ita Wegman, philosopher Rudolf Steiner, and chemist Oskar Schmiedel, whose early work connected a clinic in Arlesheim, Switzerland, with laboratory and commercial production in Switzerland and Germany. That founding model brought anthroposophic medicine together with natural cosmetics and a holistic view of people, society, and nature. Weleda adopted its present name in 1928, after the Germanic healer and prophet Veleda. Its enduring public identity centers on natural personal care, anthroposophic medicines, and products using active ingredients sourced from nature. In 2026, Cell Longevity formed part of Weleda’s newer premium-skincare strategy, while anthroposophic medicine remained integral to the company’s identity.
