Wesker
Founded in Germany in 2020 by Mayki Wesker and Kristijan Berta, Wesker grew from the shared work of two self-taught perfumers whose practice brings together art, craftsmanship, science, and perfume creation. Its creative identity centers on complex, characterful perfumes shaped by mystical themes in their names and designs. Eau de Mystique was the first fragrance in the collection and marked the beginning of the founders’ joint work; Imperial and Deviant followed, with The Scent of Banat and Histria introduced in 2021. These fragrances connect Wesker’s identity with historical and geographic references from Serbia, Croatia, Banat, and Istria, regions associated with the founders’ backgrounds. Wesker presented its five-fragrance collection at Esxence for the first time in 2023. By 2025, its publicly documented structure also included The Alchemist’s Dream collection, comprising Cruelle, Rubeus, Delirium, Nocturne, and Caelestis. Its presentation emphasizes handcrafted flacons with marbled liquid-ceramic surfaces and gold-leaf detailing, alongside a proprietary blending technique using natural raw materials and fragrance molecules.
