Founded in Bangalore in 2014 by brothers Manish and Karan Chowdhary and Ashwin and Arvind Sokke, WOW Skin Science began with a wellness concept before developing into a nature-based beauty, personal-care, and wellness brand. Its approach combines naturally derived ingredients with modern formulation science across skincare, haircare, body care, and wellness. The brand launched its first product in 2016, drawing on Ayurvedic formulas and Western herbal preparations in its natural-beauty positioning. Its Apple Cider Vinegar and Red Onion Black Seed hair-care ranges were described in 2023 as market firsts and among the bestsellers on e-commerce platforms. In 2020, the Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo was reported as the highest-selling product on Amazon in India and the United States.
